Grief is messy, personal, and non-linear. It touches every part of us; our emotions, our body, and even our nervous system.
As a society we are not taught how to be with emotions, nor is grief truly understood. We are often told to ‘move on’, to stuff down our emotions and that ‘time will heal’.
Traditional and ancient wisdoms know this is harmful, and even modern science is discovering the importance of honouring all sensations.
This immersive one-day workshop, Grief’s Journey, is a space to honour your loss, express your grief, and find gentle ways to move forward with support, wisdom, and connection. We will explore how to honour and acknowledge loss, tend to grief and prepare for future losses, an inevitable part of the human journey.

All humans navigate loss at some stage of our life, whether it’s the passing of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a major life transition, or something deeply personal.
Grief can be, and often is, complex, messy, disenfranchised (unseen or unacknowledged by others.) There is no ‘right way’ to grieve, only the way that is true for you.
Our western society doesn’t teach us how to be with grief. The majority of people feel uncomfortable experiencing it, and are often told to sweep it under the carpet, or that they ‘should be OK by now’. The initial attention from friends and family fades relatively quickly and we are left alone with the heaviness of our experience, often thinking or being led to believe there must be something wrong with us.
And while grief is inevitable, the best time to prepare for loss is before it arrives, equipping yourself with the tools and support to move through it with greater ease and understanding.
This Workshop is designed to both honour your loss, tend to your grief, and teach you ways to embrace life to better prepare you for what might come.
Spaces are limited. Secure your place today.

Love Soo, Judy, the herd and this sacred land.
Judy and So ran an amazing workshop.
The surroundings and herd are just wonderful.
Thoroughly recommend this space!

They and the horses offered us different ways of participating, while leaving plenty of space for our own thoughts.
Thank you
