Healing From The Inside Out
A day remembering peace & calm

Sunday 2nd August, 2026 | 10am – 4pm
With Soo Woods & Nicole Laughton
Investment: $290

About This Day

Many people live with stress for so long that it begins to feel normal.
The tension held in the body, often the shoulders or gut.
The racing mind, whirring thoughts, anxiety.
The feeling of always being “on” and ready to run.
The difficulty switching off, resting or simply being present.

Over time, stress can become such a familiar companion that we forget what it feels like to experience genuine calm, balance and ease.

‘Healing From the Inside Out’ is a collaborative wellbeing experience designed to support participants in reconnecting with themselves through nervous system regulation, reflection and practical tools for everyday life.

Through a combination of guided relaxation meditation, EFT tapping and a ground-based equine experience with the herd, participants will be invited to slow down, become present and explore new ways of relating to stress and wellbeing.

This is not simply a day of learning. It is an opportunity to experience change from the inside out. And leave with tools for self-support.

Two women sit facing each other outdoors on a fallen log in a wooded area, appearing to engage in a mindful or meditative activity with hands raised. Trees and greenery surround them.

Why We Have Created This Day

Soo & Nicole bring similar yet different approaches to supporting wellbeing and healing. All modalities shared in this workshop have a common purpose — helping people move from stress and overwhelm towards greater calm, connection and regulation.

Education helps understanding, and creates awareness.

Relaxation creates space, and new internal sensation.

The horses provide honest reflection, and help us open up.

EFT offers practical tools for everyday life.

Together, these experiences support change that can be both deeply felt and practically applied beyond the workshop.

Why attend

This workshop is not about fixing yourself. You can’t … You are not broken!

Instead, it is an invitation to slow down, listen more deeply, and reconnect with what is already present beneath the noise of everyday life.

You will be encouraged to honour your own needs, engage at your own pace, and take from the experience what feels right for you.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Better understand how stress affects the nervous system and the body
  • Experience deep relaxation and restoration
  • Develop greater awareness of your body’s signals
  • Learn practical tools to support wellbeing and self-regulation
  • Experience the unique presence and feedback of the herd
  • Reconnect with a sense of calm, balance and inner steadiness
  • Leave with resources you can continue using at home

What we’ll explore

Understanding Stress & Regulation

We begin by exploring what stress actually is, how it affects the nervous system, and why many people remain caught in cycles of tension, vigilance and overwhelm.

Understanding what is happening within the body can be the first step towards meaningful change.

Guided  Relaxation Meditation

Participants will be guided through a deeply relaxing experience designed to quiet the busy mind and support the nervous system to access a deeper state of calm and restoration.

Participants remain aware and in control throughout the process. Guided relaxation meditation simply supports the mind and body to enter a deeper state of rest, receptivity and ease. No prior experience is required.

Equine Experience with the Herd

This ground-based session offers an opportunity to experience presence, attunement and connection through interaction with the herd. Horses are highly responsive to human nervous system states and provide honest, immediate feedback that can help participants notice shifts within themselves that may otherwise go unnoticed.

There is no riding involved and no horse experience is necessary. All participants will be invited to engage with the horses, although participation is always optional.

EFT Tapping

Participants will learn Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), a simple and practical approach that can be used to support emotional wellbeing and nervous system regulation. By the end of the session, participants will have a tool they can confidently continue using at home whenever stress, anxiety or overwhelm arise.

Integration & Reflection

The day concludes with a gentle integration process, allowing participants to reflect on their experience and consider how they wish to carry their insights forward.
