Collectively, loss and grief is impacting all of us given the crises our Earth is facing.
The dominant worldview encourages us to suppress emotions, tells us grief is unwelcome and should be stuffed down, that we should be strong and move on.
Yet all traditional and ancient wisdoms know this is harmful, and even modern science is discovering the negative impact of not honouring all emotions.
In this workshop we will explore how to honour and acknowledge loss and tend to grief through ritual and nature-enriched practices, supported by the horses.
The Moon will be full on 22nd, just after Solstice. Winter solstice is the time of the dark feminine and a Full Moon is a culmination inviting us to begin to release. The season beautifully supports this work.
Join Soo, Judy and the Eureka Therapy Horse herd.
Join Soo Woods (therapist & healer), her Eureka Therapy Horse herd, and Judy Brightman (animistic/shamanic practitioner, energy worker and transformational coach), in an exploration of the wisdom of loss and grief, practices and ritual to honour them and support our healing journey.
This day is for you if you are looking for:
You will be guided through activities designed to help you ground, centre and become present, to embody the messages behind challenging emotions, to deepen awareness of grief’s impact on our nervous system and brain, simple ritual creation and participation to honour loss and grief.
This is helpful if you’re wanting to:
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY – with horses or with rituals / ceremony.
🤍 guided practices in presencing, centering and becoming embodied
🤍sessions with experienced and calm equine therapy horses
🤍the use of conscious breathwork, voicework, somatic practice and sound healing in honouring loss/grief
🤍guided grief/loss rituals
🤍discussion of how to create practices to support your ongoing journey with loss/grief
The weekend will help you explore and tend to loss and grief in a more compassionate way, give you practices that can support you every day, help shift stuck emotional energy and receive energetic support from the horses, natural world and your facilitators.
Wonderful space with the feeling of support, and to let down, without judgement.
Love Soo, Judy, the herd and this sacred land.
Judy and So ran an amazing workshop.
The surroundings and herd are just wonderful.
Thoroughly recommend this space!
Soo and Judy hosted and supported us through a great day of honouring loss.
They and the horses offered us different ways of participating, while leaving plenty of space for our own thoughts.
Thank you

Transformational Coach
Judy is a transformational coach and energy worker who has partnered with horses and the natural world for many years providing workshops and individual sessions to support people in tapping into the body’s innate wisdom, the heart’s infinite capacity for love and the healing power of Nature.
Growing up in Africa, Judy’s innate love of animals and nature was enriched by traditional indigenous wisdom and she has studied with numerous shamanic and animistic teachers to bring these healing practices into daily life for herself, horses and clients.
Judy has had horses in her life from a very young age, was a riding instructor for many years and works with equestrians to achieve better connection with their horses through enhancing interoceptive awareness, somatic practices and qi-gong principles.
She has worked in equine assisted services for many years and trained with the pioneers of the field as well as emerging modalities. Trained in mindfulness, numerous energy healing modalities including Reiki (certified Master and Animal Reiki practitioner) and body-based practices including somatic coaching, Qi Gong and acupressure as well as animal communication, Judy invites others to empower their own healing journey.
Trauma trained, and having done deep personal work in her own healing, Judy incorporates somatic work, sound-healing, conscious breathwork, essential oils, crystals, oracle cards and energy work into sessions. Working with other than humans and spirit guides, the elements and shamanic journeying to access the wisdom of non-ordinary reality, insights and heightened intuition can be found.
Having journeyed often in the dark, she knows the profound wisdom and light that can be found by exploring our more challenging emotions and embracing the non-linear nature of life.
